The parts under your yard matter as much as the tank itself. We supply and install septic tanks, drain field gravel, pipes, and risers built for Central Texas soil and conditions. Risers make future pumping and inspections easier, and quality materials keep your whole system draining the way it should for the long haul. Cheap gravel with too many fines chokes a drain field. Thin wall pipe cracks when the clay moves. A tank set on a poorly prepared base settles and stresses every connection. We use materials that hold up in this ground and install them the way they are meant to go in, because the parts you never see are the ones that decide how long the system lasts.

Once a septic system is buried, you are living with whatever went into the hole. That is why we are particular about materials. The tank gets all the attention, but the gravel, the pipe, and the risers decide just as much about how long the whole thing lasts.
Tank capacity has to match how many people live in the house and how they use water. Too small and solids never get time to settle. Too large and you paid for capacity that does nothing for you.
A tank that settles unevenly puts stress on the inlet and outlet connections, and those connections are exactly where leaks start. We prepare the base properly and set the tank level, every time.
Drain field gravel exists to hold open space around the pipe so effluent can spread out and reach the soil. Gravel loaded with fines and dust does the opposite. It packs, it blinds the trench walls, and the field never performs the way it was designed to.
Depth and coverage are not suggestions. Too little gravel under the pipe and the trench does not distribute evenly. We place it to the depth the design calls for and keep it clean going in.
Central Texas clay expands and contracts with the seasons, and it pulls on anything buried in it. We use pipe rated for the job with properly glued and supported joints, laid straight and at the right fall. Too little slope and waste sits in the line. Too much and liquid outruns the solids, leaving them behind to build up and block the run.
Every expensive septic repair we do started with something cheap that got buried in a hurry.
A riser brings the tank lid up to ground level instead of leaving it buried a foot or two down. It is a simple piece of plastic and it changes the entire ownership experience of a septic system.
If your system does not have risers, adding them is one of the highest value upgrades available, and it usually pays for itself over two or three service visits.
We can supply materials for a project you are managing yourself, or handle the whole job from delivery through installation and cleanup. Either way you get the same materials we would put in our own ground.
