When a tank is cracked, collapsed, or past its life, replacement is the smart long term fix. We remove the old tank, install a properly sized new one, and make sure everything is sealed, level, and up to code. When Replacement Is the Right Call
Not every tank problem needs a new tank. Baffles can be replaced, risers can be reset, and lines can be repaired. But there is a point where patching stops being economical, and a good contractor should tell you when you have reached it.
Structural Cracks and Failure
Older steel tanks rust from the inside out and eventually collapse. Concrete tanks can crack from ground movement, root pressure, or decades of corrosion at the water line. Once the structure is compromised, the tank is leaking in both directions and no repair fixes that.

Plenty of rural Central Texas homes are running on a tank that was correct for a two bedroom house in 1985 and is badly undersized for the household living there now. Repeated backups on a system that is otherwise sound often trace back to this.

How We Do a Replacement
Assess the Whole System
A failing tank often means the drain field has taken abuse too. Before we quote a replacement we look at the field, because installing a new tank in front of a clogged field solves nothing.
Size It for Today
We size the new tank to your household as it actually is, with room for how you plan to use the property. This is the one chance to correct an original install that was too small.
Pump, Remove, and Dispose
The old tank gets pumped out, broken out or lifted, and hauled off properly. Abandoned tanks left in the ground are a liability and, in many cases, a code problem.
Set the New Tank
New tank goes on a properly prepared base, level, with sealed inlet and outlet connections. We add risers so future pumping and inspections do not require digging up the yard again.
Permits, Inspection, and Cleanup
We pull the permits, meet the inspector, backfill, and grade the site. You get documentation that the work was done to code, which matters when you sell.
